3G and 4G services in Pakistan

3G and 4G users in Pakistan are just short of 41 million marks as a total number of mobile broadband subscribers reached 40.89 million at the end of Nov 2017, reported by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).

The Largest Major contributions were made during March 2017 by Mobilink Jazz as it added 362,467 users on 3G and another 64,454 users on its 4G network.

Mobilink Jazz
Jazz’s total count for 3G users stood at 12.46 million while 4G users were at 799,529.

Zong CMPak
Zong added more 4G users during March 2017 than 3G users, indicating company’s clear focus towards 4G services. It added 178,042 users on a 3G network while 261,406 users were added on 4G network.

Telenor pakistan
Telenor remained consistent with 153,937 new 3G users during the month of March and another 95,717 4G users during the reported period.

Ufone
Ufone, like last month, lost 198,597 3G users during the month to total 4.66 million 3G users at the end of March 2017.

All these facts and figures show that Jazz/Warid is the number 3g 4g is top of the list as they are providing the most premium services compare to their other competitors. But 3g/4g services overall in Pakistan are on the rise as most of the people carry cell phone and feel more comfortable using internet on mobile rather than any other sort of device because Cell phone remain much more stick with them compare to any other electronic gadget.
