Prime Minister Imran Khan himself has confirmed his visit to Karachi on Friday in a cabinet meeting to make it possible.
The announcement of the package is expected to include transport, roads, sewerage, electricity and water supply projects.
It should be noted that Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has stated that Karachi Transformation Plan has been shared with stakeholders and the city needs such a package.
The Governor of Sindh said that if everything had been in place, there would have been destruction because 400 mm of rain was unexpected.
