Sari/saree is a very famous female dress from the Indo-pak subcontinent that consists of a drape varying from 5 meters to 8 meters in length and 2 to 4 feet in breadth that is typically wrapped around the lower part of body. One end is draped over the shoulder and baring the midriff. There are many styles of sari draping but the most common style is the Nivi style, which is originated in Andhra Pradesh, India. The sari is usually worn over a petticoat and blouse(fitted upper garment). The blouse has you can say sleeves shirt and is usually cropped at the midriff. The sari is a symbol of grace in cultures of the Indian subcontinent.
