1965 War and Aziz Bhatti Shaheed
After 1947, The 1965 war the second war between India and Pakistan over the status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Indian Army cross the border of Lahore and Kasur fronts without a formal declaration of war. Pakistan Army and Air Force attacked back on Indian forces for pushing them back to their country. On September 7, Great Pakistani Air force pilot M.M. Alam, Sitara-i-Juraat shot down five Indian Air Force aircrafts in a single moment. An unbeaten world record 7th September three teams of our Special Services Groups(SSG) were para-dropped on Indian Air Force bases at Pathankot, Adampur and Halwara to neutralize them.
Raja Aziz Bhatti shaheed (12 September 1965) was a Staff officer in the Pakistan Army. He was posted in the Burki area of Lahore during the India Pakistan War of 1965. He was fighting continuously from 5 days and nights. The commanding officer sent him a message to come back for little rest. Major Aziz Bhatti, who was filled with patriotism replied “Do not recall me. I don’t want to go back. I will spent the last drop of my blood for the safety of my beloved county”.
